A/Prof Caroline Cooper

Anatomical Pathologist

A/Prof Cooper is a specialist senior Anatomical Pathologist, working for Pathology Queensland at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, Qld, Australia and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Queensland. She did her medical degree at the University of Tasmania, and trained in Anatomical Pathology at Westmead and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals in Sydney. She is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland. She has a special interest in gastrointestinal, pancreatic and liver pathology, head and neck and pulmonary pathology. She has a particular interest in biomarkers in cancer, including prediction of response to immune checkpoint inhibitors and has varied collaborative research interests including head and neck, pancreatic and oesophageal neoplasia. She has authored or co-authored over 50 peer- reviewed publications.
