Dr Angela Ferguson is a human Immunology researcher at the Centenary Institute, Cancer Innovations Centre and conjoint lecturer in the theme of infection, Immunity and inflammation in the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Sydney.

Dr Ferguson’s current research explores the immunology of human health and disease. They use modern technologies, such as OPAL multiple IHC and imaging mass cytometry (IMC), to explore the human immune microenvironment. Dr Ferguson’s work strives to understand the complex human immune system in a compartmental and spatial context, ultimately offering avenues to predict patient outcomes, response to therapies and discover novel immunotherapeutic targets.
